98 Fuel pump Relay?
 

Hey guys,

Been an ongoing rebuild project for the last few years and im finally getting my bike back together, ran into a hitch today. I noticed today after doing some carb maint. and attempting to start it that there was no fuel pump relay hooked up. I am assuming this is why my bike wont start at the moment, no fuel pump activity. Now, i have a fuel pump relay in some spare parts but it only has a 2 pin connector on it and my bike has a 3 pin plug, any way to make this work or do i need to order a new relay?

P.S. i did jump the pins to the fuel pump to make sure it was working and when i turn the key to the on position the pump runs constanly so im assuming its ok.

Just bypass it for now as you did already and get a new relay off Ebay. Its cheap. The bike runs perfect even without fuel pump. I also have fuel pump issues so I just bypassed it till I get it fixed. I ve been riding my bike without the pump for a month already and kinda get used to it LOL.
