Angry 98 CBR F3 wont idle

So heres the deal... my 98 f3 will only start with full choke and i have to jack the throttle back to get it running but after i take the choke off it wont idle, it just dies? i just got the plugs replaced but what could it be now? other then it not idling it runs like a beauty? does anyone have any idea? and as far as prices of how much this is gonna run me? seems like one thing after another really.....*sigh*

Not really enough information to go on. How about a little history on the bike and this problem ? When did it start ? How many miles on the bike ? Did this just start happening suddenly ? Did you replace the plugs because of this, or did you just happen to change the plugs ?

It could be something as simple as the idle is set too low.

It has 17k miles on it and my bike wouldnt start so i took it in to a honda dealership and they changed the plugs and it worked fine after that and he said i shouldnt need my carbs cleaned right now. and yes all of the sudden it started happening, i got it out of paint about 2 weeks ago and it worked perfect, i let it sit over night and i went to ride the next day and it wouldnt start....changed the plugs and it was back to running perfect, next morning.... it starts but wont idle. i tried to set the idle higher so it would idle and nothing. I can start it and give it gas but i have to keep giving it gas to keep it running unless i set the choke all the way down and then it idles around 3k rpms. but if i take the choke off it dies. if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

I'd go with what Mrmanr said.

When you adjust idle can you see it moving throttle up in down? Make sure its connected at least. Its runs under your carbs and should have a spring on it. You can try taking off your air box and see if it stays running , could be dirty filter. Try the simple things first befor you do the carb clean, if you cant do it yourself.
