do you have a seat as it is? If all you need to do is re-cover it, i can walk you through that, its pretty simple and should only cost around $20.

i got a penny sized tear on my '98 seat and i was thinking to get it professional done to get rid of it but im interested in hearing the re-cover instruction because the pro wants about 50 bucks and well the 20 just sound better plus i like to do it myslef.

$50 would be a good deal. But anyways, go to a shop n get a piece of vinyl cut for the seat. Leave it out in the sun on a sunny day and come back when it is warm as hell. Get a staple gun with 1/4" flat head staples. once you take apart the origional seat cover you should see 2 pieces of vinyl. cut the vinyl out in those shapes, make the big one a little larger than the origional to make the next steps easier. Sew the 2 pieces togeather like the origional. Starting from the front of the seat, start stapleing and pulling the vinyl tight and staple it tight. After a while you should end up with a nicely recovered seat with no wrinkles or wavy spots. Mine turned out awesome and it was a good learning experience.
