Default 97 f3 not quite there

my 97 f3 has a problem when i go to give er **** off the line the bike boggs out i back off it a bit and then it takes right off, but the thing is it not happens once i a while probally not even %50 of the time. Anyways anyone who know what this might be plese help.

Wheres the airfilter and how do you clean/replace it ?

take off your tank and its in the air box . and as for replacing you pull it out and put a new one in then put the air box cover back on put the tank back on and your done

Why would this have anything to do with the airfilter? I'd say more the fuel filter is potentionally clauged or your carbs need to be cleaned.

it could be a carb issue, if the air filter is dirty enough it could be causeing a problem....pop it out see what it looks like easier to fix then carb

I'd say that as well, if it's hesitating under load than maybe the filter is getting clogged.

my bike was doing that and i took it to my friend and he flushed out the fuel system cleaned the fuel filter and sinked the carbs and it runs like a champ
