Default 97 f3 with 94 f2 carbs

hey guys i jus put a 97 f3 motor in my bike and im running 94 f2 carbs. the bike runs but it bogs down hardcore everytime i give her a little throttle. im not sure whats going on with it but i have heard/read its a pretty common issue when you use those carbs. If anyone has any advise how to fix this problem let me know thanks guys

The first best thing you could do would be to put the right carburetors on your bike. You know, one with a throttle position sensor on it.

The most common issue is the carbs being dirty. If the problem is happening from idle and that first initial twist of the throttle, then your issue is most likely a cleaning issue. A jet kit is not going to address low RPM problems.

actually if the carbs are clean, it would be dumping less fuel.

The f2 carbs are smaller, and deliver less fuel. Therefor a jetkit would help.

Same thing I did to my bike

The carbs are not that much smaller. When you put in a Jet Kit, be it Stage 1 or Stage 2, you're not replacing the idle air screw, or having any effect on low RPMs. He says that it bogs when he gives is a LITTLE throttle, not when he's turning 4000 rpm and then whacks it. Jet kit's affect mid range to WOT.

You say you cleaned them. How many times have you cleaned carburetors before ? Did you remove the Idle Mixture screw (pilot screw) ? Did you flush carb cleaner through the idle jet and out the ports ?

i have cleaned them 3 times since i got the bike last summer and i just did the 3rd cleanin about a month ago and they were totally taken apart but i cant figure out how to take the pilot screw out because its circular with 1 flat side on it. and i do have a set of f3 carbs for the motor but im running the motor in a f2 frame and the airbox too so the f3 carbs do not fit with the airbox with my frame
