you can get OEM ones pretty easy online, ebay being one place. But as many people here will likely say, it's time to upgrade that to a R/R with some heat spreaders (fins). I understand that some F4i R/R have an upgraded unit.
Having recently gone through the same problem, I upgraded mine to a 2004 GSX-R. The unit is much larger than the stock F3's, the plug has to be adapted a bit since it's not plug and play, but there are adapters out there you can purchase to make it plug and play.
If you're handy, it wont be a problem. I contacted my local bike chop shop for a unit off a wrecked bike. cost be about 100$, pricey, but I trust the owner and sure enough, its been working out great.
You'll likely have to find a way to mount the unit as the bolt holes are more spread apart than that of the F3's unit.
I know there is a list floating around here of R/R's that are compatible with the F3. just google search it, you'll find links back to the forum.
Good luck.
