This winter I'm replacing the cracked up plastic & want to update the rear of my F3. Are the 97-98 tail pieces a direct bolt on for the earlier F3's as far as mount tab placement, etc. From what I've seen, the seats are interchangeable and obviously I need to go w/ the later tail light. Who's done this mod and what were your experiences with it? Thanks!

 

Yeah, the side fairings will bolt on, but you have to change the rear tail light and bracket to get everything to fit. Just did it to my 96, looks great, but had to
change the tail light.

 

You'll also need the seat as they are not interchangeable.
