I got a f3, now what to do?
its 96th f3, with 15k on it.
Its got clean title. the current owner is the 2nd owner.
it does need new tires that's all he said it needs.
He also said that the oil, air filter, spark plugs, carbs were all cleaned/changed last year, and a brand new battery just this year. I got him to take 2500. is it worth it?

It looks as if it's all there and it seems to be not to beat up.
So how does she sound and run?
Try this to test the motor, but tell the seller what your doing first!!!
Let the bike warm up and have the bike in neutral while your sitting on the bike.
Run the revs up to 6-7000 rpm and hold it there for 10-15 seconds.
The motor should sound strong with no pops or crackling, and listen for cam chain slapping around in the motor.
If the cam chain is loose you will hear it when you rev and hold the rpms.
Good luck on the bike!
