Default 96f3 with 600rr tail - pics

Hey everyone, new to the forum here. Just thought I'd post a couple picsof my winter project - tail from an 06 600rr, fiberglassed to my 96 front half of tail. Lots of work, but I think it came out pretty good. What do you guys think?

Yes, freakin' sick dude!

I like it! Got any pics of the work while you were doing it? Looks great, a write up may be in order, I'm sure lots of members would be interested in an updated rear-end on the F3.

Great work, nicely done!

Looks good. Now question and answer time LOL Ok what did you do to latch the rear seat?? Im working on my F3 right now and the tail is where im getting screwed up. I have put on F4i fairings and working on an 03 600rr tail. I bought the tail last year but it didn't look right so i scraped that idea until i decided to do the f4i fairings. any info would be appreciated. thanks

BTW here is my beater. can't wait to finish it up and paint it

great job looks sweet any pics of the tail lights ?and as mentioned this would be a great write up in the how to . someone else in there had a f3 with the rr tail but they did not combine it to a f3 tail fairing so you saw the tail frame this one looks way cleaner

I was wondering what did you use for the gap between the frame and the tail fairing. Is that stock plastic or the original side plates that are modififed? Also how did you mount the seat and the tail?

Thanks for the compliments everyone. As far as Q&A time- unfortunately I didnt take any pics of the brackets I welded to the frame, but I will try to get some sometime soon.
