96 smokin joe idling/running issues
1996 f3 turns over no problem with choke but dies after i take it off. this only happens for a few minutes and then idles fine. if i give it any throttle it will cut out and die. i baby it along with the chock and sometimes can even get it into first and run down the road but when i take off the choke and give any gas it does the same thing. is this bad plugs? do i need to clean the carb? this didnt happen until i used seafoam on fill up but the tank is now towards empty. please help

If you're not the original owner of the bike I'd look into the previous service history and go from there but, if you are the original owner of the bike I'd do a minor tear down to get a good look of the cables and all hoses(vacuum/fuel) to get a proper diagnosis. Check all aspects if the air, spark, and fuel equation and see what unfolds. Good luck. Might be as simple as a measly adjustment or as intensive as a carb cleaning. How often is the bike used, how did you store it if you did and what measures did you take all have numerous variables. More details are needed.

If the bike was running fine before you used seafoam, I would check the plugs first before tearing into the carbs. The seafoam may have clean out some gunk and during combustion, fouled the plugs. If the plugs are black and nasty, new plug time. If they are a nice tan color, I would move onto the carbs.
