the dumbass i bought it from cross threaded a spark plug in the cylinder and it sits way higher than the rest of the sparkplugs and i think thats why its bogging above 5000 rpm? send me a phone number and i will send a pic because i dont have my sd card for my phone so i can post pics on the website! carbs look real clean! i guess im the dumbass for buyin it but i love these old skool bikes
I wouldn't say this is the end of your bikes engine. Have you removed the plug to verify its not just loose? My F4i had #2 loose from the previous owner, changed them out and torqued them to spec and have had no issues since. Worst case you can always use a heli-coil. Parts aren't cheap so I'd do everything possible to work with what you have.
thanks so much for the info but without taking the head off how in the world im i supposed to take that plug out? Its completly rounded off. i used a 5/8 spark plug socket and it keeps spining around it. i know once i get the plug out i can use a heli coil or a thread repair kit to fix the threads but that plug is done. also my when my choke is up bike runs ok when choke is down it revs to 5000 and stays there. sometimes it will die
I thought that it was always pushed up with my thumb (toward front = on) but my memory sucks for little things like that. The idle issue may be as simple as turning down your idle with the adjuster **** on the LH side by the access vent.
As for your stripped plug, make sure your turning for a long enough time (the threads are crazy long) and also be sure that your socket has the rubber insert to help pull the plug out or just use a rubber hose that will fit over the tip. You may just be spinning the plug without knowing. That's what I didn't understand about my F4i on that #2 plug, I felt like I wasn't on the plug because all it was doing was spinning, but that was because the plug was loose the whole time.

the plug is most def stuck in the wall. its not spinnin at all. the dumbass most def cross threaded it or something. but what gets me is that all six points on the spark plug are completely rounded off? im using an angle mirror and a pocket led light too look while the motor is still in the bike.
