Well somehow i developed a rod knock on my 98 f3 with 9600 miles. At first the only thing wrong with it was the timing chain tensioner but it grew into a very loud knock and the oil light comes on at idle. Not a good sign....

Has anyone on this forum ever installed a 900rr engine into an f3 ? I've heard the parts are interchangeable but does anyone have any personal experience with the swap or do you know anyone who has done it ? If they have did they have to modify anything for the install ? Any insight would be appreciated !
