How much can you fabricate yourself is the question?
Without buying anything, not a whole lot, however:
Sumn like this to hang your blinkers and plate off from doesn't set you back more than a few bucks off ebay or your local parts dealer. Then cut the original mudguard off and replace with something like that. Keep in mind that you gotta somehow illuminate your reg plate when done. That particular model has a place for the plate light (round hole for the wire)
