Hey guys so theres a bike up for sale locally on craiglist for 2500 but it has ALOT of miles, 74k actually. I didnt know if this was way high of mileagein any of your guys opinion or not. I know the f3 I own i got with 38k and ive put 6k on it with no engine problems whatsoever, but still the thought of that many with no engine work kinda worries me.. Any of you with high mileage bikes care to weigh in?

I just see you getting rid of a very good bike with less than half the mileage .. they can rack up the high miles these bikes if serviced but wouldnt you rather be the one to do all those miles?? ...why not wait a whil.e enjoy your current lower miles bike and save or wait for a much lower miles F4i ..its what I would do here ..good luck anyway!!

You can be pretty sure that anyone who rides that muchtakes good care of his bike. Better than one that's been sitting under a tarp corroding. Ask the seller what kind of maintenance the bike has had, and search on this forum to see what kind of problems F4is are known for, so you'll know what to ask about.
If you can sell your F3 for about the same amount, you should seriously consider doing it. Nothing wrong with a 95 F3, but the F4i is a superior bike.
