Right on fellas!

I love my f2 but I would love a 600rr



*forgive me, I'm a reporter so it's natural to be persistent...and annoying

 

i love my f2 jsut as much as you guys love yours but im looking at a 600rr as well...speaking of rr's how much faster are they then our bikes

I LOVE my bike, but, I too am one who would like to upgrade. But, even if I do upgrade to a liter bike, the F2 stays with me. I too love the fact that it's, as stated, afew thousand dollars cheaper, but, is cooler!

When I do get my 954RR, I'm keeping my F2 and modding the crap out of it!!! Think it looks good now? Just wait!!! The 954 will be my daily driver as the F2 gets pimp'd!! 900RR motor swap, undertail, custom highmount, and, single sided swingarm. That's first on the list.

I plan on getting a newer bike sooner or later (probably more later than sooner) and plan on keeping this F2 and my other bike for the simple fact that they are paid for and you can never have too many bikes.

 

i also really really want a 600rr but i will wait a bit on that, and when i do, the F1 stays with me as well. as cbrjeeper does, i plan on modding the crap out of it then, cutting the subframe and fabbing custom mounts to support an RR subframe, single side swingarm, undertail exhaust, and who knows what else. people always give me the, i had a hurricane!

 

i have one becauser it was cheap and i could pass it up on the deal i got. its in paint right now getting a new/fresh design sprayed on for the wife. once it comes back the wheels are off for fresh powdercoat and ill post up pics of it once i get it all finished.

will i sell it? ab-so-****in-lutely. i hate hondas, they are heavy, slow, and the most popular brand out there. its an awesome bike and 100% bulletproof mechanically. im a suzuki guy at heart as you can see with my GSXR 1K. as soon as the GSXR is paid off this fall the honda will be up for sale and ill be getting a new 750. the wife will then get the 1K (1KRR eater) as her toy. i dont need a liter bike, noone NEEDS anything with that much power. the wife has alot more self control than i do and doesnt go as WFO on the throttle like i do.

 

I don't upgrade because I would be raped by insurance. They look at a 20 year old with a sport bike and give their heads a shake and write me up a bill that allows me to buy a brand new RR every year.

Insurance is gay and my f2 is a tank. She has some flaws and bugs but it has yet to fail me.

 

In terms of acceleration the f2 will be left in the dust.

The F2 does not have the horsepower or suspension of a new RR, however...

In terms of "faster", it can easily hold it's own with a good rider. I'll put one of the Hayden brothers on an F2 against any of us on an RR any day of the week. The F2 is exceptionally stable and more than powerful enough for any street riding and is a favorite of track riders everywhere. Speed is more often a factor of the rider's ability than the bike's ability. Is the RR capable of being much faster than the F2? Yes. Will most people ever be able to gain a significant advantage just by mounting the new bike over the old? No.

I keep my F2 because it's fun to roast new SuperSport riders in the twisties and have them look at me like WTF!!!
