I have an 87 CBR600 with 41k miles, which is probably somewhere close at least to 70K KM on it, still runs great. thats nothing if the bike has been maintained well/never been ridden on one wheel or abused. these bikes are absolute tanks, aside from the regulator being a weak point, but there is a fix for that too I think.

Giday Jamie....Nova Scotia !!! kool .... literally mate welcome to the CBRForum ...
I am not too sure what the going price for that model 600 is in your part of the world , but $1800 does not sound to bad .... how much stuff does she need mate ?
70,000 klms is only 45ish miles ...not too many if the engine has been services and looked after ?
The fairings and pretty bits usually can cost a bit to replace or re paint ?
Let us know some more details about what needs to be done and I am sure the guys will jump in and advise you

right on well here what he said.1993 Honda cbr 600 F2, works good, new rear tirenot to longago, new K&N airfilter, Hindle exhaust, new grips and bar ends, new sparkplugs, new tinted windscreen, aftermarket undertail with LED tailight. 70,000kms,just changed the oil and filter, MVI good till July '09.so its pretty much for the road over the winter cause it snows here ill be painting the bike over.

Ya, good deal... I bought my 93f2 (in B.C) for $2500... it ONLY has 57,300km on it (now) but i bought it in very good condition, for a 15yr old bike (stock paint and fairings with a couple of scratches)
I wish mine had come with an aftermarket pipe and windscreen... I think it worth is $1800 for sure
