Default Working on fixing fairings

I was just wondering if Bondo would work on my fairings. Or if there was something else out there that is inexpensive.
I have a lot of work to do to get these looking good, and dont have very much money, so I need something cheap but will also get the job done.

Thanks

Resin will get the job done, but it will crack easily. It is not flexible and you are putting it on stuff that flexes. Parts like lower fairings and rear fairings will crack the easiest because they flex the most. An upper fairing will do quite well with resin though because it is a stiffer piece.

If you want something cheap use resin, if you want something that will work better, use ABS glue/epoxy. If you want the best repair, get plastic welding done.

Aight so if i use an epoxy can i sand down the excess? im not too familiar with epoxy so im not sure how much it hardens.
or should i just use the epoxy on the inside to keep it intact and use resin on the out side?

It all can easily be sanded.... Even plastic welded parts that get weld scars can be sanded down.

I am in a similar situation. Bondo is out of the question for me. It is ment for fiber glass or whatever, NOT rigid plastic. I have been looking around and stumbled on a product called Duramix 4240. Sounds like a great product, it is made for ABS plasitc. Paintable and it has ablity to flex with out cracking. Ill update you in a week or so when mine gets in and I use it.

Where I found it------>
