93f2 I just.went.through.my.carbs.put them.on and rode.the.bike.for a spin round the.block.been a few.days.sorted out my lighting issues.put.the bike back together.and and wont run right.pull the choke.turn gas on and start.it and she kicks over and will.start but run barely.if I give it throttle it will stay at the same rpm,and.backfire.whats my options?has A new battery.also how do I set the idle screw right?thNks

Idle should be set around 1200, but if it's not running right, you're not going to be able to "get it set" just yet.

How do your spark plugs look?
Did you properly set your pilot screws after you cleaned the carbs?
Did the bike run properly before you cleaned them?
How did you clean them, did you remove all jets, pilot screws, etc.?

Plug wires in the right place?

JNSRacing Jun 16, 2013 11:16 AM

Demon, I think he's saying it's now running smooth, issue resolved, with the plug replacement.

Ah, I see that.
