Wires showing through front fender/cowl. Is it normal?
I just noticed something.
Through the opening on the front of my F2 i can clearly see the wire-loom with all its wires, plugs and so on.
Is is supposed to be this way? What if water enter through this opening and into the electrical system?
I know theres this rubber cover above/behind the instrument panel, but this does not seem to be big enough to cover the entire wire-loom.
Hence the wires that are showing.
It might be normal. It might have always been that way. But I thought it be best to ask anyways.

Yes, that flip does help actually, even though the new screen isnt more that a couple inches taller than the stock one.
I changed to that screen because the stock one made all the wind hit the underside of my helmet, and as a result I got lots of head-wobbling and wind-noise.
With the new one the wind hits just about the upper part of my helmet.
The screen is a touringscreen from MRA:

I did consider the doubble-bubble type as its supposed to divert the air more to the sides instead of upwards, but after some careful considerations I opted for the touringscreen instead.
(Oh...and btw: I'm 6'1", and I usually sit rather upright on the bike.)

Edit: Changed the link as it didnt seem to work. If your having trouble fining the screens just go into MRA's website and lookup CBR 600 (91-94).
The touring-screen has parts number: 164-T, and the double-bubble type has parts-number: 164-R.
Oh...and I ordered directly from the MRA site, even though they state that only germans can do so (I live in Norway btw).
That saved me about 10$, compared to if I would have ordered it from my local-store.
