Will a F3 front wheel fit the F2
I have been offered a set of F3 95-98 wheels on the cheap complete with disks, I know the F3 5" rear wheel fits plus disk but will the front wheel fit & disks? I'm not bothered about speedo etc as the bike is a race bike. Wondering if the exsisting F2 calipers and forks will work with the F3 disks and wheel?

well, since the speedo sensor on the F2 basically acts as a spacer you'd probably need to fab up your own spacer that is the proper length so that the F3 wheel doesn't move laterally or isn't centered. Other than that I can't much see any reason why it wouldn't. But then I have to ask why? I understand the benefits of swapping the rear wheel for a racing application, but is there anything to be gained by changing out the front? If not I'd leave the F2 wheel where it is and just swap the rear.

I thought the F3 front rotors are larger than the F2. Also, the F2 calipers are floating with solid rotors, and the F3 calipers are fixed with semi-floating rotors. From what ive read on the board, you'll need the forks, calipers, spacers, and rotors to run that wheel. You might be able to get away by just using the F3 lower fork.
