I'm Alive!
Aww, I feel so loved
Sorry I disappeared everyone, it's good to know I have been missed.
F2projekt nailed it, I'm going through a big move right now and i'm doing it in the most difficult way imaginable.
Moving from Victoria, B.C. (Canada) to Edmonton AB.
In Victoria, which is on the coast, the weather is very tame all year round... I'm having to adjust to -40C winter here in Edmonton.
First Idrovehere (16 hours)without any of my stuff and without my old lady for 3 weeks staying with a stranger justto start working and find a house, then I flew back on x-mas day to Victoria to rent a moving truck with a tow dolly (for myother car)and pack everything I own into it and start driving again.
Merry x-mas right? What a hellish week!
We spread the drive over 3 days to break it up so I wouldn't burn out, but because of the bad winter we're having here I had to drive all day long for the 3 days - I pulled off 15 hours straight on the last day only stopping for gas and a ****.
There were countless accidents along the way, some i'm sure involved death... I can't imagine how people can mess up so bad driving in snow and ice, just slow down and be smooth!
I made it safely, just tired... Put my stuff in storage and now I have to live with my old lady's brother on the army base until we can move into our house on Feb.1... Then it's another moving truck and another headache!
My CBR is still in pieces but it has survived the move and awaits some loving and new parts, I can't wait to move into my nice big 24x24' shop in the new house!
I'm thinking about putting some ice racing studs in a spare set of Pilot Powers I have and throwing them onto my Supermoto, try my hand at racing on the frozen lakes here. Look up some video's on youtube of motorcycle ice racing - they have more traction than a set of slicks on a paved track in blistering heat!
That should keep me busy year round, no off season!
Anyhow, that's my long winded explanation and update on what's going on with me... Thanks for checking in on me

RE: I'm Alive!
Good to hear you're alive and well. Moving is definitely a pain in the ***. I'm guessing you did it because of work..don't really hear of people moving to colder weather voluntarily. By the way.. I got the bike running(it was caked up dirt/oil in the pcv hole and gummed up jets) and did my first test run a few days ago. yeaaaah!
