Where do these go??
I recently bought a CBR F2 for pretty cheap and I have been chasing down and fixing all its problems. On thing I cant figured out is where these two electrical boxes go? You will see one hanging off to the left and one more toward the center. They have rubber gromets on them as if they are supposed to slide over something on the frame. Anybody with pics that could help? Thanks..

RE: Where do these go??
The one hanging between the forks looks to be the signal relay. The other looks like the fuse block??
The relay goes just under the wire rack attached to the fairing stay on riders right. If the other is fuse block it belongs under the cover marked "fuses" on riders right.
Best way to reattach is to remove the fairing. The diagram is in section 1-23 of the service manual. The manual is here in PDF but I seem to recall someone mentioning that section was missing.

Yea, it runs good. 48,000 miles but had a few qwirks. I got it for $800.. Headlight would not work. Fixed by cleaing connections. Would not start when cold out. Choke cable was froze. Rear shock is blown out. Fixed that for $30 on Ebay..
I will have to take a deeper look tomorrow to see if I am missing the fairing.. Thanks..

Looks like your pipe sticks out way too far, you can see on the canister about 4"backward where the band should be... It wont hurt anything so long as you're not doing 12 o'clock wheelies
