Default what RPM's should I be running at 55mph

Hey Guys, I just got my 1994 F2 last month in July..I been riding alot and have noticed that at 55mph my tach reads at 5000 rpms in 6th gear.Is this normal? I have had numerous sportbikes in the past..but this is my first Honda 600cc bike.My old CBR 900RR ran like 4000 to 4500 rpms at 55mph.
It doesn't feel like my clutch is slipping....just checking with you guys to see if this is normal or not. Thanks

My bike did that and come to find out my bike had an aftermarket sprocket kit on it. Check to see if you do. If you don't its not normal

Mine runs at spot on 5000rpm at exactly 100kph (62mph) in 6th gear.

sounds geared up to me. i went from 14-43 to 15-45 and mine runs along those same RPMs. also the tire size affects it( speedo calobration ) but link to gearing commander will sort all that out for you

My F2 runs 55 at 5000 RPM in 5th gear. Your gearing is obviously not stock or you are counting wrong while upshifting...lol.

Thanks guys for the info, what is the stock gearing for a 1994 F2 ? I have a VORTEX 43 tooth on the rear.I need to pull the cover off and count the front sprocket today. The previous owner just put on a complete Vortex racing sprocket kit with chain before I bought the bike.I finally got a email from him about the gearing.
