1:set up your suspension for your body!
2:galfer brake pads and steel braided brake lines
3:aftermarket exhaust (if its a slip doesnt matter what brand there is minimal gains on slips)
4:remove your kn filter because its robing your power! paper is best.
5:dynojet jet kit and 95 f3 pilot jets along with a proper dyno tune.

the top 5 list of mods and my favorite mods i did for my cbr 600f2 was

JT heat treated 3 up rear sprocket- faster acceleration, lasts way longer.

fox racing shox with an anodized canister and stainless braided lines with racing spring- easy click and adjust dampering and make the bike handle they way you want it to.

kerker carbon fiber exhaust- much lighter, dissipates heat very well.

led clear tail light- leds last much longer and the clear tail light looks way better.

carbon fiber fairing and stacked duel halogen head light brackets- much lighter then stock and very strong and looks great as well.

carbon fiber frame mounts- look way better and give a great custom look.

Well it's not like i've done ten mods or anything but of what I have done...

1- Ape manual cam chain tensioner. I only had cam chain noise when firing the beast up, but it worried me sick. It's an easy install for a lot of peace of mind. This is something you will surely have to mention.

2- Exhaust/muffler. My bike came with a vortex slip on and god damn does it sound sexy :)

3- Go up a few teeth on the rear sprocket. I'll gladly take a bost in acceleration. Who really needs a top speed as high as this bike has!

4-Frame sliders. Save what you can in the unfortunate event you go down.

5- Proper maintenance. Bought my F2 in poor condition for a steal of a deal. Previous owner didn't even know how to tighten down the mirrors. Put in some new spark plugs, new chain, new sprocket, oil change, new air filter, new rear tire and... the bike rides like a dream now!
