turbo?

Is there any guides out there on how to turbo bikes? I've searched the web can't find any specifics

i doubt that their is really any straight forward guides, maybe for busas, but the recipe for turbocharging any engine is relatively the same. You just wont find a 'bolt on' kit for a bike like you would a car, so there would be a ton of custom work to be done.

Just some advice - There is NO POINT in turbo-ing a bike less than 1000cc's.

That said, there are Turbo-ed 600's out there. If you're talking about a stock engine, you could probably get pretty close to stock liter-bike numbers if you have a well-tuned and well set up kit. If you want more power, you'd have to do some work on the engine in order to accommodate the increased boost (lower comp, ported heads, hi lift cam)

It's been done on an F2 so I'm sure that there is information somewhere on where to begin. But I'll reinforce Conrice's point in that there is absolutely no point. With a couple thousand in engine work (bored 3 over, beefier rods, port heads, replumb carbs, etc.) and a couple thousand in turbo, intercooler, exhaust manifold, custom air box, etc.) you will end up with a bike that is maybe close to a stock 2004 1000kRR ... and it won't handle as well. But sure, it has and can be done.
