I have never crashed, where did you get the idea that I highsided?
I dont know if you crashed or not. MOST People that have a bad experience on a bike are very quick to attribute it to bad tires when in fact they were riding like a moron and simply over rode the tire for the conditions. That's all. I was asking if perhaps you were one of these people.

I dont even remember what the original question was now.........if it was what tire is best.......get what ever you can afford, i'm sure it will be MORE than sufficient for your use. Unless you are approaching the front of the starting grid at your local races, most any of the street tires will work just fine and if you ARE approaching the front......well you'll know how to ride around a defunct tire.

Alright, fair enough.

It's sometimes difficult to see who is a talented rider and who is a blabbermouth on these forums.

Bad experiences on bikes can be caused by many things: Suspension setup, poor riding habits, faulty equipment and not to rule out bad tires among other things.

The mainstream tire brands all have traction beyond our abilities, I was merely commenting on the longevity and wear habits, and then price became the argument.

Anyhow, Merry Christmas everyone, I hope undercoverbrother gets some Metzelers under the tree

Just thought i'd throw my $.02 in.

I had a set of M3's on my F4i and loved them. Very sticky in the canyons and on the track. I had a lot of confidence in those tires. I got about 5k out of them, but I did a lot of commuting to work (straight-line) so I think they wore prematurely. Seemed to take track abuse quite well.

Just another assho, er opinion.
