Default RE: tires

Lot's of us have gone up to 170's on the rear, it is a little wider but the dynamics do not get compromised by the small rim. Shinkos are prolly the most cost effective set of tires, but everyone had their fav. I like pirelli's...they cost a little more but last pretty long. But I've heard Battleaxes (Bridgestone) are very good as well.

I'm running a Shinko 190 on the rear and love it, I had to massage the hugger a little with a heat gun and some wooden wedges to make sure nothing made any contact, but it was all warped up and nearly touching the 170 anyway. Now I've got at least 1/8" clearance everywhere. [8D]
