Default tire pressure question

Hi I am new to CBR F2. I just bought a 94 and it seems to me that the tires can use a lil air. About how much pressure show each tire have? Also there is a lil clicking noise when I turn on the bike. I have read that it could be the cam chain tensioner. Where can I get one and is it easy to install, DIY?

It depends on the tire and the use of the tire/bike. I run my Pirelli Corsa's at 36F/36R on the street and 32F/30R at the track. 36 should get you pretty darn close to a good starting point.

As for the CCT, i've never done one on the F2 but it's pretty straight forward and certainly DIY if you are even a little mechanically inclined. It's more of a rattle though, not so much a "clicking" sound. Just FYI.

My tires say that the max PSI is 42 on both the front and the back. It doesnt say anything else. I'll try them at 36 to see how it rides. I guess 36 sounds ok. I will try.

My F2 manual says 36 front and 42 rear. I also believe that my tires also have this printed on them. (Max 42)
