tire pressure??
 

Hi every body, I just bought new Pilot Power Michelin tires for my F2, 160-60-17 back and 120-60-17 front, anyone knows what would be the proper tire pressure for normal road use, the roads are not perfect all the time down here in the caribbean, some bumps now and then, although I do sometimes ride at speeds over 200km/h. temp is around 32°C.

Take a look on the side of the tires. It should tell you the recomended tire pressure.

Yes, but I was told and also read that the pressure marked on the tires is to high, and that I should use lower pressure on my tires, is this true?? the guy that installed the tires recommended 35 front and 38 rear. So what would be the difference if I inflate my tires to what’s marked on them which is around 40 or lower. I would think that the manufacturer recommends a certain pressure for a reason, right?

"The pressures stamped on the sidewall of the tire are only for maximum loads."
rear tire reads = MAX LOAD 716 lbs AT 41 psi
I never ride at maximum load.

36 front/rear is what Dunlop runs for street, and 32front, 30 rear for track days.

42psi Rear, michelin, continental, Avon, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Metzler, Dunlop.
dosent matter what tyres you fit and no incease for passengers either

look up in the manual. or ask any tyre manufacturer & they will give you the same as I have.

keep to these pressures and you won't go wrong,
don't think a little lower and you'll get more grip you won't
look after your tyre pressures and you tyres will look after you on bad bends.

also if your above 11stone set the rear suspension to #5 solo riding
