throttle stuck
So my throttle is sticking really bad. I twist it back and release it and it barely goes back. I tried spraying WD-40 on the cables both at both ends of the cable. Still nothing. Did I put too much WD-40 on it, or is there something more messed up. Any advice would be great.
Thanks

RE: throttle stuck
Is there ANY slop in the throttle tube? Like, can you "open" the throttle and have it move but not actually more the throttle blades on the carbs? Basically, can you rock it back and forth at ALL as if you were opening the throttle but NOT actually open the throttle, that is slop. If there isnt any then perhaps they are too tight. YOu can loosen it with the adjusters under the throttle tube (the switch housing right next to the throttle tube that houses your starter switch).

RE: throttle stuck
so I figured out what the deal is. The cables are somehow stuck. When I take the tank off and take the two throttle cable outside of the "hook" that keeps them in place, the throttle snaps back iwth no problems. Now whenever I put the tank back on, they stick. Any ideas on how I can route the cables so that they snap back?
