I am putting an F2 back together but I think there are some parts missing from around the air box. Below are some pics of the airbox area, can any one tell me whats missing and how important is it to have on there, can it work without it?

 

other then the tank/petcock it looks good to me

 

IIRC you may be missing some vent/drain tubes that come out from around the air-box. I think on my bike they come out from the bottom and cross over each other and end around the petcock somewhere. let me go check brb

 

Yeah, they do crisscross, but they don't lead back to the petcock. They are held together by some sort of rubberband.
