Woke up to this one morning and didnt feel like fixing the fairings.


So....figured its project time...



I ride everyday,so I do a few things at once every few days.Still trying to figure out what to do with the tail,but I decided I dont want anything but a seat back there.Still gotta trim it down more.Running all the wires under the tank was a pain in the ****.I've seen F2's with single sided swingarms,what bike are those off? Any mods to make it fit.Also,think I wanna put some Gixxer USD forks on,I assume you need to use the Gixxers triples too,am I right? Any modding to get them to fit?

 

What kind of plastics were on it?

 

Old set of Airtec.They dont make them anymore.

 

those were some nice looking fairings man, its a shame to see that on its side. the swingarms are off of a vfr.

 

doesn't look to bad with that chopped tail. I'm getting ready to tear into an f2 streetfighter project myself. It's for a friend of mine for his first bike. I've actually got 2 f2s, one with a salvage and one with a clear title. Gonna make one out of the two. I'll post some pics up once we get started. Maybe we can share some info.

by the way......you want to get rid of that airtec tail section?

 

what do you guys do for the gauges on a street fighter? cuz it looks like thats where i'm heading for a while too. at least to make it legal. do you have a pic of your front end?!?!?! thanks
