Default Update

Finally got the bike to start once. It was revving very high, wouldn't come down while adjusting the idle screw. Then there started smoke coming from under the gas tank. Shut it off of course and now it will not restart. AAARRRGGGHHHH! It wouldn't be any fun if it werent aggravating! LOL

sounds like you may have an enrichment plunger f*ed up. pull the plugs and see if any of them are fouled out with fuel. you are probably dumping entirely too much fuel into the carbs/engine. if that doesnt work, first check for vaccum leaks at the rubber boots, and if there are none, then you may need to disassemble the carbs again and check the enrichment(choke) system, and the idle circuit, as well as float heights and idle mixture screws.
