Starting Issue
 

Hello everyone. My '92 F2 has developed a problem starting over the last few months. Battery tests fine, connections are tight. I hit the button and if the bike hasn't been ridden in a while, there is a long delay before the starter spins. Then the bike cranks normally. Usually, subsequent starts after this first cold start are without issue. The other day, the second start had an extra long delay before turning over. Ideas?

I would say, ride it more often. :)
When you say the battery is fine, how are you determining that? The symptoms are those of a failing battery.
