Question Speed Bleeders - What do I need for the F2?

I was thinking about buying some speed bleeders. Do any of you use them?

On the official website, CBR600F2 is not listed on the application chart.. so I am not sure which type I need.

Does the CBR600F2 have two bleeders for the front brakes, one for the rear, one for the master cylinder, and one for the clutch? I would need 5 total??

Thanks for the help.

Have you done brake bleeding before? The F2 has one for each front caliper, and one for the rear, three in all. The clutch is cable actuated.

I haven't bled a motorcycle before. Only my cars.

My F2 is in storage, 2 hours away. I am going to be picking it up soon, so I thought I would gather up all the maintenance supplies beforehand.

The clutch makes sense. I had a brain fart there -- thinking that the 'wet-clutch' shared fluid with the brakes, instead of the engine oil .

OK. So 3 total.

Do you know if the bleeder size is the same as the '05 CBR600RR [two SB7100S, one SB8125L]?

Thanks.

...or sticking the other end of the tube into a full bottle of brake fluid thus preventing any air getting into the tube...

Agreed. They are one more thing to go wrong.

A bike is not that hard to bleed... Just have a buddy help you and bleed them the same way you would a car.

I haven't ever even needed a buddy to do it, bikes are so small I can reach the levers and the bleeders at the same time and I'm 170cm tall... A tip I have posted a couple times before: the bleeding process can be carried out "backwards" with a big syringe full of brake fluid and a length of tube. Push the fluid in the caliper from the bleeder with the syringe and watch the bubbles rise into the reservoir. It's wise to still check the system the "old fashion way" to ensure there's no air left in the caliper.
