hey could anyone tell me why sometimes when i ride my bike for a while, when i go idle it sometimes dies and when i try to start it and use the throttle it seems to die. any help? thanks

check your idle adjustment screw.... Left knee, just past the fuel shut off valve, it may need a few turns out to allow some fuel into the carbs....how many miles are on your machine, Idle speed "rpms" should be around 1300-1350... thats factory settings, while at idle....My first F2 had 46000 miles on it and I had to run the idle speed up to 2 grand for it too keep running....hope this helps.

Make sure the idle is set with the engine warm. If this doesn't help the you may need to sync the carbs. There's no reason that the bike should have to idle at 2000RPMs to avoid dying -- something else is wrong.

cool, my bike has 25,xxx and the guy told me to keep the idle is @ 800, and i was like uh ok.. oh and another question is my throttle has a delay. any help there guys??? thanks!

800rpm is way to low:D Set it between 1200 - 1400 rpms and crappy throttle response may go away.
