Hey guys, just wanted to say how sad i am feeling now. Due to other commitments in my life, the F2 was sold... It sucked watching it drive away with it's new owner. I loved that bike. Ah well, there is plenty else to look forward to... like buying a new f2 when I'm in my 40's, just to be nostalgic.

 

I feel a tear in my eye, I feel the same way thinking of selling mine...

WTF!!!

 

IMHO, the only reason to sell ANY bike is to replace it with something better. When I met my wife (actually both of them, present and ex) I told her that I have a bike now, and I'll have a bike long after she leaves. I don't care if I only ride it 3 days a year. I will always have a bike. Of course, I'm not one of these "johnny come lately" RUBS. I started riding in 1980 and bought my first in 1983 and have had one ever since. Every last cent of the proceeds gained from selling your motorcycle should go into your next motorcycle! Shame shame.

 

I know the feeling! Except, I am on the other side! I sold my beloved CB400F back in 1985 in my 20's. I was sad to see it go. Now, I am in my 40's and am back riding. More fun now than it was back then - Know why??????? TRACKdays! I have 2 600's, one a Hurricane and one an F3 and they are only for the track. So, like me, you will re-emerge and you, like me,will be able to get a really great Honda that hasn't been made yet which will make the F2's and 3's seem like dinosaurs!

 

Every last one of the proceeds went towards an engagement ring! And then some...

I still have the F4, and we have a 2008 Ninja 250r (she rides as well.)

 

It hurts, but eventually ....eventually I think you'll get over it.

Sold my f2 years ago and the sting went away after a few months.
