SMELLING GAS
Hello all,
I have had my 93 F2 for about two months and noticed that i small gas when sitting at lights.
Amost like its running rich. the bike runs sweet, crisp throttle response and very quick. Also, could be that i never fill it completely but my mileage blows
Getting around 90-100 miles befor putting it on reserve. Thought I filled it comp last time but
again it started stumbling around 89 miles[:@].Turn it to reserve anditcleans right up.
Whats the opinions on this???
thanks

RE: SMELLING GAS
My mileage is hurting since I put on a slip-on pipe and re-jetted.
I also cannot fill it completely anymore because I suspect there is a pinhole in the overflow tube the runs through the tank, so if I fill it too high it will pour gas all over from the overflow tube under the bike.
I get 140km's before I hit reserve (too lazy to convert to miles)
As far as running rich, take it for a good ride, park the bike and pulla spark plug - that will tell you where your jetting's at.
