Small update on my bike

Got rid of those ugly blinkers, & cut of the plastic fender in the back.
Raised the back suspension to max, and cut of the plastic licenceplate mount.

So far so good, i'm gonna repaint the fairing this summer too, but too much to do @ work still...

Im getting thoughts of replacing the back tyre with a 180 instead of the original 160, can this be done without modifying?
The 160 tyre is almost worn out...

flush mounting blinkers on these bikes is a lot of work.
and i believe 180 is the biggest you can go....but believe it or not the smaller the better... stick with a 160 for the best handling.
your doing a lot of thoughtless modifications to your bike...
all im going to say.

Not alot of work m8, it was easy, bqause i have the F3 Fairing in the front...

Anyways i have a charge problem, the battery gets about 16.4volts at 5-6000rpm and the battery looks now like this (see pic).
Is this resolved just by changing the "charge regulator" (didn't know the correct term...) :P

Me & my dad went on a nice sunday ride, We left Arendal at noon & got home about 9'ish in the evening. Trip was about 450km long & 90% "twisties". (My dad rides a 91' BMW K75RT)

here are some pictures & a road map of the trip. (i will be getting a videocamera soon, then i will film myself doing some of the trip ).

Default Had some fun putting the bike away for the winter.

Using up the tire before winter storage

It jumped out of 2'nd gear, when i geared up to 3'rd.
Second time it went well

I dont see why you have to bounce the engine off the limiter when burning out. The times Ive done it I aim for 10-11k and the bike has happily spun the tyre to destruction.

Good way to send off done tyres!
