id get it for sure i have a f2 and much more comfy then my buddies 06 and older bike are much cheaper parts wise like i got so many aftermarket parts for fractions less then it would be for a newer bike also it is better to practice with a old bike bc they arent as powerful as a newer ones. but its totally upto you i know i should have started out with a cheap old bike

yeah...and i fully agree... i WISH i could find a cheap older bike.... there just arent any around here. plenty of f2-f3 that people think is made from solid gold... but.. the only GOOD deal i found is on an 04 600RR which has been droppedand has a few cracked fairings.. 14k mikes and with a price tag of 2500....500 of which he will accept in a trade for a tool box i have. so honestly, aside from its beauty and badass design... the thought of it pretty much scares the **** out of me.. with that being stated... with all fingers crossed and maybe a little luck, its getting delivered tuesday. awesome bike, probably not a good starter bike. absolutely not a good starter bike. but i was going to have to spend the same amount on a f2-f3 and they all had *carb problems*. (looked in 3 states for a month +)

sorry for your luck man. I was looking around for a while until a co-worker offered his up for sale. I snagged it quick!

I would say the F2 is a great beginner bike but I don't know about the RR. Never ridden one so I can't say for certain. Probably a better choice than a fireblade tho.

Do a good double check under those fairings if you can, the seller may be hiding some problems you can't see.

nah RR isnt THAT bad... prolly a harsher ride than the f series due to the aggressive stance but overall i rode it with no problems....even got it up that 200+ yard loose sand driveway.... thats the impressive part lmao. ill post pics of it....then maybe everyone will go Oh damn.....no wonder lol.
