Is she gonna die???

So I'm gonna be honest, I've not checked the valves the whole time I've had this bike. So what started as cct noise is now full on valve chatter. I've put over 10k on the bike easy. I just wanna know if I'm close to dropping a valve, I've heard you can smell when you've burnt a valve. I did notice a weird smell today after the chatter got pretty loud during warm up.
once I get a few more tools I'll break into it, just looking for advice

CCT's can make a ton of noise, but that's different from valve chatter.

Unless your bike has been seriously abused at some point, I find it unlikely that your valve are going to be out of spec enough to burn a valve.
Valve check interval is 16k, and most of the time it's just a check because they will be in spec.
They normally don't move much, so you'd have to put a ton of miles on and even then, you'll probably only have to adjust 1-2.
At least it's been that way on the F2's I've owned and heard about.

And if your bike drops a valve, it's going to be a lot worst than putting out a smell.

Abusive

I abuse this bike like she owes me money.
I do let her warm up stay low rpms till she good an warm, after that she gets beat. I've been trying to learn wheelies this past summer. I guess I never noticed because I always wear a full faced helmet. I wore my half shell one day an all I could hear was the cct or valve train. I have nothing to go on as no one around me has a f2. Ima check clearances but if they are in spec guess I'll just wear a full face lol.

Lol, many years ago, I bought a new helmet and wore it for the first time at a trackday. First session out, the bike sounded horrible, like it was about to grenade. Back at the pits, it run fine, sounded fine and I couldn't see anything wrong.

So what changed - answer: the helmet. So I threw my old helmet back on and went out again for the second session. Bike sounds perfect the whole time. A different helmet can make your bike sounds completely different.

If your cct is making noise, you should fix that. It cheap and easy and there are several threads on here about how to do it. This is more important if you run your bike at higher rpms, which it sounds like you will. And it's hard to diagnose anything else if you've got CCT noise.

Checking your valve is also easy, I'm betting they will be in spec. Adjusting them is a bit more work and some math.

You should also put your city, state in your profile. You may have people right next to you. Hard to tell if nobody knows where you are.

And one more thing, since I'm in a mood today.
Throw that half shell helmet in the trash.
The only thing that should have half shells are turtles, both regular and mutant ninja.

Let me ask you this:
Have you ever had your jaw wire shut?
Do you like eating solid foods?
Do you like going down on your girlfriend?
A working mouth and tongue are important for all of those, especially the last one.
Full face for the win.
Ok, I'm done now.

That's funny. I had the same experience with a Sportster I had. I took it out for a ride on the first nice day if the season and it sounded like it was going to blow to smithereens. I realized later that I had taken the ear flaps out of the half helmet I was wearing, which meant it had always sounded like crap.
