Replacing Tail light with LED Turn signal problem

Replacing Tail light with LED Turn signal problem
I recently purchased an integrated LED tail light and turn signals. The brake lights and running lights work fine. The Turn signals work correctly when the bike is in neutral but as soon as i put it in gear the back two turn signals blink and the front ones don't, well don't look like they do but might be dimmed. According to the wire diagram from the manual it doesn't look lilke they share a common ground wire (the neutral switch and blinkers). The LED turn signals only require a positive connection so i grounded the left over green wires from the old turn signals. When i hook both the old turn signals and the LED up they work correctly. Is there some sort of relay or something in the old turn signals that completes the neutral circuit? Any thoughts would be appreciated. This is driving me nuts and the wiring is all wrapped together so it's difficult to follow even with the wiring diagram.

RE: Replacing Tail light with LED Turn signal problem
It did come with a line load resistor (or Turn relay not sure which one) but the instructions said to instal it if the turn signals blinked to fast or something along those lines. I'm going to instal it today and see if it fixes the problem.
Thanks,
Anthony

RE: Replacing Tail light with LED Turn signal problem
So i installed the Resistor and it sort of fixed the problem. The blinking definately slowed down and when I put the bike in gear the correct blinkers work the only problem now is when the bike is in gear the front turn signals are very dim (barely see them in the daylight) but when in neutral they are bright as can be. Man I love this model CBR but definately has its headaches.

What do you mean you "grounded out the green wires?" You should use the green wires with the lights. When I did mine, I hooked up each side's power wire to one side of the resistor, then spliced that in to the power wire of the factory wiring. Then I hooked the ground wire to the other side of the resistor, then spliced that into the ground wire of the original signal. I've never had any problems, and everything works as it should. What brand integrated light did you get?

RE: Replacing Tail light with LED Turn signal problem
I forget the name of it and don't have the box with me right now. I hooked it up just like you described. It is working for now but the front lights dim a bit for some reason. I'll keep looking at it. The wiring on my bike has been messed with by the previous owner and i'm working through it now.
Thanks for everyones help.
