Remote battery jump point

Remote battery jump point
I got tired of taking my bike apart every night to recharge the battery, so I rigged up a quick remote jump point. All I did was take an exstention cord, cut about 2 feet off and connect the wires to my positive terminal. I fed the other end through to the same spot as the idle adjuster screw and zip tied it in place. Now all I have to do is connect the positive end of my charger to the prongs of the cord, and negative to the frame (rear set works well). Since the cord is hidden behind the fairings and the rubber covering the idle adjuster screw hides the prongs, it looks completly stock.

RE: Remote battery jump point
i was going to do something like that, the trickle charger i have has an extension with terminals to mount on the battery, and a plug on the other end for quick connects for charging, i was going to rig it up to fit a portable jump started, mine also hides behind the fairing and you cannot tell.

RE: Remote battery jump point
Battery is fine, the stator starting to go bad, and I'm waiting for a good one to come up on ebay. I'll try to get some pictures, but it's pretty much an exstention cord run through the holes of the bottom of the battery container and run along the frame to the idle screw opening.
