Rattle that is getting on my nerves.

Im just going to replace the engine. The sound is finally clear and its definitely something that got loose up top. Looking at an F3 engine and planning on just selling the old one to the shop that's swapping for me.

this might be the porblem broken chain guide.. diagnose the issue before you toss the engine.

ive since replaced the engine and opened up the cover and the chain guide is in tact. I still dont know what the problem was

kinda sounds like a rattle that i have. i only hear it at 4000 rpms and higher, and also the engine gets to loud that u cant hear it anymore. but for mine it was kind of a faint "zing" ing, more then a rattle. and only happened while im driving, not then im standing just revving up
