Default Rare garage find!!

Hey guys,I was at a friends house working on his 06 1000RR when he told me a coworker of his was selling a 93 CBR600F2,so we went to check it out and I could not believe what I had found..The bike was in MINT condition, practically brand new and had been sitting for over 10+years.It has only 344 original miles..black,silver and red color scheme, unopened tool kit owners manual and spare key.I changed the fluids, battery and put gas in it and it fired up Right away no hesitation or knocking and purred baby smooth. It's a little dusty so I will be going over there to clean it up and take pictures tomorrow,I will post them right away..

My question is what do you guys think this bike would be worth??I don't want to make an offer till I get some imput on this.I haven't seen an F2 this fresh and flawless since 1993 at the dealership.

That soundslike an awesome find. You are probably in the States so I can't help much with the price. I would check prices on Craigslist in your local area to get a ball park figure for F2's and see what others are asking.

Amazing that it fired up right away. It sounds like the same colour scheme as my '93 F2, can't wait to see pictures.

Offer him a grand and take the fight from there. You'll need to settle this man to man. Ain't no price list going to give you a comparison on this one.
If you like it enough, bloody well buy it.
Finders keepers!

It all depends on the buyer/seller. If its been sitting back there all that time, chances are the owner doesn't care about it.There are a host of problems that can occur when an engine sits for TOO long.

If it runs well though... I think $1500 is a fair price. Is there a title for it?

I've personally seen them go for $2600-$2800 out here in half the shape,It's a classic with a cult following.I am a certified technician and I have no worries the way it runs, when it's mine I will go through everything.thanks for the imput I will post pics tomorrow.

Upload some pics man, sounds like a good deal, I can imagine how an f2 would look like in a very prestine condition.
