PRO-TEK Rearsets.. anyone have them?

I just got a pair and was installing them and the shift rod that is included is way too long.. are there some other adjustments that need to be made? There are no instructions with them or on the manf. site about installation.. any help is appreciated.

what shift pattern are u using? u should be able to reposition the shift linkage( the part that slips on the trans shaft) and make it work. i have a set and they work great. i had no problem installing them. here is a pick.

my linkage piece is now up top using the standard shift pattern, but the shift lever still points way down to the ground, and the it is threaded all the way it so turning the shift rod does not increase the levers height.

thanks for the pix though.

i just measured the shift rod on mine and it is 10 and 1/8 long. maybe they sent the wrong one to you by mistake. hope this helps
