Default RE: PAINT QUESTION

I stay in the UK tried various colours to match the Respol Orange.

Good match is the Ford ST Orange (base coat and top coat required)

Put pics up tomorrow.

Default RE: PAINT QUESTION

Are you painting the tank yourself? If not...a good painter/bodyshop can match the color if you can bring him an example of it. They will just match the color as close as they can out of an automotive book...then tweek it as ness. Even if you were to find the paint code from Honda...unless it crosses over to their automotive line, the bodyshop will not be able to mix it because the code won't be in their mixing database. IMO you can save yourself a lot a time going straight to the source..the body shop. There are other options (I can't remember their name) there is a company that specializes in Japanese motorcycle paint and sells the correct colors already mixed in small batches. Paint needs to be reduced prior to application. They advertise in the back of Cycle World magazine and the like. I have shot their stuff before, but they are very expensive for small quantites. I also remember a long while back (1988+/-) getting a 1/2 pint of factory paint from the dealer for my GSXR. Hope this helps...
