Hey guys, I have a 91 F2, and the paint on it is ****e. So I am gonna go with a repaint, and avinyl or two. I had a mate of mine toy with a photo of it on photoshop, and I want like opinions from you F2 fans! I want to go something different to stock, but simple and a touch classy. here is what I am thinking, only difference will be the logo on the tank will be one of those carbon look ones, let me know what you think, thanks!

Because your bike is not a 600RR, I think it looks like rubbish.
The color scheme is alright, but I would lose the black that runs up the front of the bike. |
i like the paint man it gives it a more up to date look.
|
I like it, of course, I've always liked red, nice colors...do it....!

The F2 has its own merits, be proud of what it is. I think the 2 tone looks alright. I think having something there to contrast the pure red would be a good idea. |
Where did you get the grab handle on the back of the seat?

I agree... paint looks good but DONT put '600RR' on it.... it should have the 'goof-2' decals :)

I love the paint scheme and it does give it a newer look if thats what you are going for...but im going to agree with everyone and say take that 600RR sticker off!

Whoops! forgot to mention that the 600RR will be replaced with a 600F2 graphic in the same location!
Have had another look at it, my best mate is a fully qualified plastic welder amd has suggested a little bit of chopping. I am really liking it, here is an updated version, the greyish area on the fairings is the part we are thinking of cutting out, he can do it in a way that the finish will appear as though it was factory. whaddya think? p.s. you will need to open this picture in paint. |
