as some of you know i have a 92 F2. but i have a F3 seat and tail light cuz its just so much more sexy. so i thought of putting a ducati, or a 600rr, or a F4i tail on it. but since i already have everything setup for the F3 swap i went with that. heres what should be at my door in 3 weeks.. hopefully my bike will be put back together by then....

That will definitely look a lot better. If I decide to keep my F3 its getting a newer 97-98 tail. That would make it look way better IMO. I think I have my f2 sold already so if I don't go get a new gsxr600 I may use some of the cash to fix the f3 up.

It is a nice looking tail. Not trying to scare you but good luck with AirTech. Their quality has been known to suck. Usually ****y fit and you need a good body man to prep it (ALOT) before paint. Good luck with the mounting points aswell. A buddy of mine bought an upper and both lowers from them in carbon fiber and it was so pitted and pinholed we had to totaly cover it with filler and paint it. he spent a ton to get the carbon and had to cover it with paint. Anyways, post some pics when you get it done.
Good luck

ya i hope it works for me. as for mounting points i have the old tail that is in about 5 pieces. with most of the mounting points so i'll cut them off and fiberglass them in where i need them. as for the prep it happens to be that i'm in a paint and body class through a local college. so i'll work on it there. i'm doing a "professional rattle can" job on it. lol. its the dupli color mirage paint. but i'll do what i can and its not on the top priority right now anyways. i want it running first. so hopefully i'll be riding by the end of the week!
