Default Oil filters on F2's

Wondering what the numbers are for the best oil filter i can get besides the OEM one that usually costa me 13$. Any suggestions?? Also last year i bought Amsoil full synthetic, should i continue to spend the big bucks or should i just go with a cheaper name synthetic. Thanks.

Mobil 1 M-108 or the Mobil 1 M-110, which is a little longer and holds more oil. I get them at Auto Zone or Advance Auto.

If you want to save a few bucks on oil filters, get the OEM packs of 3 or whatever they sell on e-bay. I've seen cheap oil filter internals fall apart and wreak whatever havoc you could imagine.

I agree with Raylee, go with Oem Honda filters. My buddy is a Honda tech and will refer you to a place cheaper for parts anytime, but won't on Oem filters for proper Oil pressure. He said it isn't worth as hard as I beat on my bike.

Purolator PureOne is what I usually use - or Mobil 1.

To make it easy to remember - you're looking for a filter that fits a Nissan with a VQ35 motor - so remember 350Z and you'll be fine.

also - Oil change intervals for these bikes are only about every 8K miles according to Honda. Will vary with the environment you're in, but generally 2X what most people change their cars at.

You can also use Yamaha or Kawi oil filters, they cost less than Honda.Yamaha is 5gh-13440-....Kaw is 16097-0004.
Kawi synth S4 is also cheaper but I still like Amsoil, holds up extremely well, clutch feels great, motor looks like new.S4 I haven't used enough yet,but it's in the drag bike now.

A-junky,you don't seriously go 8000 between oil changes do you?

I go about 7,500 miles with Mobil-1 Oil before each oil change. I am hard on my motor too. I check the oil and use a magnet for any metal fragments(plus drain plug magnet), check the thickness of the oil too and never have a problem. Synthetic does last alot longer than dinosaur oil.
